HISTORY
Alvesta Intermodal began operations in September 2009.
The first customer was Green Cargo, with the startup of "COOP-train". The assignment means that the COOP-trailers are in the system between Helsingborg, Bro / Stockholm and Alvesta. Trailers are loaded on and co-distributed with other goods to the store.
Since then, the business expanded with more missions as times goes. During the year 2010 were handled (ie loaded and unloaded) in total 3500 trailers. Added to this is 185 covered wagons, which were unloaded on to trucks and distribution to end customers.
One goal for us to eventually be able to loosen the covered wagons under cover as outlined below.
